Dixon Riggins | Reaching the Next Generation with the Gospel
After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2025, Dixon was blessed with the opportunity to step into full-time ministry on the college campus, and he answered the call. Being from the "Bible belt south" and going to a private Christian school, he was blessed with hearing so much about who Jesus was from a very young age. However, during his first two years of college at Sewanee, he found his identity in being a college athlete which completely overshadowed wanting to genuinely pursue a relationship with God. When football couldn't fulfill him in the way he had hoped, he transferred to MTSU where God provided him a community who presented him opportunities that challenged him to make his faith his own and take steps to grow a deeper relationship with the Lord. Today, his desire is to pour into the next generation of college students by sharing the gospel and developing them into Christlike leaders who walk with God and make him known to others long after they leave the college campus.

Dixon also seeks to help these students be equipped in growing their personal relationships with God and sharing him with others through Bible studies, discipleship groups, retreats, and summer opportunities.

Not only does Dixon desire to help these students grow in their relationship with God while in college, but also to find opportunities after graduation to be sent out as ambassadors of Christ in their career fields, get plugged into a local church, and walk with the Lord for the rest of their lives.

Evangelize.
The college campus is a very shaping and influential environment for young adults learning who they will become for the rest of their life, and Dixon aims to use this space as a mission field to reach young men with the good news of the gospel.
