Jakobe Mays | Campus Outreach Intern
Jakobe Mays is currently serving with Campus Outreach on the University of North Texas campus through a ministry internship. He grew up in Lancaster, Texas, and was raised attending New Missionary Baptist Church, where he first heard the truth of the Gospel and later gave his life to Jesus Christ on August 6, 2023. He was baptized there as a public declaration of his faith.
Since that day, God has transformed Jakobe’s heart and given him a deep passion to help others experience His love, peace, and grace. Through Campus Outreach, he now has the opportunity to walk alongside students, share the Gospel, and make disciples who know and follow Jesus through community and the local church.
Jakobe’s internship begins in January 2025 and runs through July 2026. He is trusting God to provide full financial support by January 1. To make this possible, he is building a team of ministry partners who will join him in prayer and financial support—whether $50 a month or whatever amount God leads—to reach the lost and build laborers for Christ. Together, Jakobe and his supporters will take part in the Great Commission and witness lives transformed for eternity.

I’d be so grateful for 30 minutes of your time to share the vision and how you can be part of what God is doing. -Jakobe
