Josiah Cotton
Disciple Making Disciples
Josiah Cotton is a 23-year-old from Macon, Georgia, following God’s call to serve on mission in Chicago. Raised in a Christ-centered home by two pastors, he was blessed with a strong foundation in the faith. It is a foundation he now feels deeply called to share with others.
After earning his undergraduate degree in journalism from Samford University and a master’s degree in mass communications from Stephen F. Austin State University, Josiah believes God is leading him to use his gifts to build relationships and host life-giving events that make disciples on college campuses throughout Chicago.
His mission is simple: to be a fisher of men and a vessel the Lord can use to bring others to Christ. His vision is to see young men transformed by the Gospel. He believes that when God captures the heart of a man, entire households and communities can be changed.
In Josiah’s words, he is simply a beggar leading another beggar to the Bread of Life. He invites others to join him on this journey.
