Tommy Wilkerson | To Smell Like the Sheep, Just as Our Good Shepherd Jesus Did.

Tommy Wilkerson has a passion for sharing how God can transform lives. Growing up, he experienced significant loss, including the passing of his father when he was six years old and his grandfather when he was twelve. During those years, one of his brothers left and has not returned, and he often felt alone, searching for mentors, guidance, and a sense of belonging. Although he was surrounded by people who cared for him, he often felt like he was carrying life's challenges on his own.

As he grew older, Tommy pursued fulfillment through basketball, success, and personal achievement. Receiving college offers and committing to Bethel University felt like reaching the top of the mountain he had been climbing for years. Yet even after achieving those goals, he realized they could not satisfy the deepest needs of his heart. At what felt like rock bottom, Jesus met him there.

Through God's grace, Tommy came to understand that Jesus was separated from His Father so that he could become a child of God. By placing his faith and trust in Christ, he found a new identity, purpose, and hope. Today, he seeks to live as a man after God's own heart, loving others sacrificially and pointing them to the Lord.

Tommy's mission is to make the love of Jesus known in a world that often looks for fulfillment elsewhere, shepherding people toward the True Good Shepherd. His vision is for every person to experience the sacrificial love of Christ, place their faith in Him, and spend eternity with Him. He desires to faithfully answer God's call to reach people with the Gospel and see lives transformed through the victory Jesus won on the cross.
