Tony Dentman

Founder and

Executive Director

“I believe more than ever that minority leaders are positioned to change the world. However, the financial burden is too great for many to carry. So I decided to create the Funding Tribe Foundation to carry some of the weight.”

Tony Dentman was born and raised in the inner city of St. Louis, MO. He went to college and became a Christian during his freshman year through Campus Outreach College Ministry. When graduation time came around, Tony was offered the opportunity to come on staff with Campus Outreach at the University of Memphis. He has served with the ministry in Memphis for over 12 years.

He is a speaker, author, and life and fundraising coach. He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Funding Tribe Foundation (2017). He has a career history of coaching and equipping team members to excel and grow into roles of expanded scope and responsibility. He has over 15 years of experience as a fundraising coach and has trained hundreds of leaders.

Currently, he is the Chicago Expansion Director for Campus Outreach. He holds a Master’s degree from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Strategic Christian Ministry from Liberty University. But his real credentials? Hundreds of ministers and missionaries went from uncertain funding to fully supported missions under his guidance.

He is passionate about leadership, diversity, evangelism, discipleship, and fundraising. He lives in Chicago, IL, with his wife, Jennifer, son, TJ, and daughter, Mia.
