Melissa joined Funding Tribe in 2020 and has become an integral part of the organization's operations and growth. With a background in Human Resources, Guidance Counseling, hospitality, and education, she brings a unique combination of organizational expertise, people skills, and strategic support to the team.
After several years working in the hospitality and education industries, Melissa transitioned to remote work in 2019, supporting leaders and organizations across the United States as a Virtual Executive Assistant. Her experience spans executive support, project coordination, communications, systems development, and team operations.
At Funding Tribe, Melissa helps turn ideas into action. From managing projects and coordinating communications to building systems and supporting team operations, she works behind the scenes to keep the organization running smoothly and moving forward.
Melissa is passionate about creating structure that helps teams do their best work. Through thoughtful coordination, dependable support, and efficient systems, she helps create the space for Funding Tribe to focus on serving people and expanding its impact.
She is currently based in the Philippines and is most likely in front of her laptop right now, working alongside her fur baby, Bailey.
