What Is NetCasting and Why It Matters
NetCasting is the process of identifying and writing down everyone you know who could join you in your ministry journey, not just as donors, but as partners in God’s mission.
The term comes from John 21:6 — “Cast your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.”
Jesus wasn’t giving fishing advice; He was teaching trust. The disciples caught nothing until they obeyed. When they cast again, the nets overflowed.
That’s the heart of NetCasting, obedience over outcome.
You’re not begging for money; you’re building a net of people God already placed in your life. Every name represents a relationship, a story, a potential Kingdom connection.
Why It Matters:
You can’t reach out if you don’t know who to reach.
God provides through people; your job is to discover who they are.
A strong list brings confidence and clarity when it’s time to share your vision.
Don’t filter names. Don’t overthink it. Just cast your net.
Faithfulness builds momentum, and momentum multiplies provision.
